About the conference

Africa in Transition:
Locating the Place and Space of Global Africa and the World

is an international conference sponsored by the Africa Caribbean Centre for Development in
partnership with the IDEAZ Institute (Austria), IDEAZ Journal (Jamaica) and the Pan
African Leadership Institute (Ghana). It seeks to interrogate African development and
transformation with a view to determining how this change impacts and may be impacted by
African Diasporic communities and the wider world.
